..which to me seems the perfect little example of how the human race form tighter communities when they have something to fight against or struggle through.
Though I'm not struggling; I bloody love this weather! More snow plskthx.

This is true, I tend to think of it as people will be nice if they have the opportunity, we are such are reserved bunch in England.
But have you popped into WOW lately? I know its geeky, but I am sad. I have to cancel because things are SO busy, but the Horde have gone reall Far Right, and all the buildings in Oggy have changed to be nasty. War and fighting are everywhere. My little Shaman just wants to pick flowers and be friends... its harsh indeed...
Yarr, that be Captain Fishpants, of the Saucy Souixsie, terror of the Briny Seas there. Why we are stuck in the Medway Delta with all these mudpeople, that be a mystery to me, Yarr!
I mean I am sad in that the new changes and nasty atmos sadden me! Its something i've used to chill out to over the last few years, and the new fascistic atmos does not warm to me. I might even have to join the alliance...
I am 38 years old.
These are probably the best characters you have created so far :D And I would like to see more from them. The Adventures of Captain Fishpants McLobster-Brains and his First Mate Kipperthong the third. The Medway Delta and the Curse of the Murlocks (see how I brought the two subjects of your comments together? Check me the fuck out!)? Or how about Gibbeous O'Hoolahan does Dallas? Now that would be fun to write.
I haven't been on WoW for well over a year now. Real life got in the way I'm afraid. It'll never be the same as it was when the game first came out. Ahh, the times were different then: I was young and it was all new and shiny and....gamey. If you want something where you just pick flowers and make friends with everyone you should either play LOTRO (though I can't guarantee that hasn't changed since that first came out either) or try being me for a day.
And yes. You are thirty-eight years old and you have just written several sentences about a current dilema in life pertaining to an online role-playing game. There is simply no hope.
